S2 stops what he's doing and says, 'Do you Know that it is a god's birthday today? My teacher said so.."
me: 'Which God is this?'
Shocked that I didn't know, he stands up and says "Gandhiji, of course"
me:"Gandhiji was not a God. He was..."
Interrupting, he says," Last month it was Krishna Bhagwan's birthday and we got a holiday, then it was Ganesha Bhagwan's b'day and we got a holiday, now it is Gandhiji's B'day and we have a holiday...So That makes him a God, doesn't it?"

i like this tale...u know something? i know its very uncool and all, but iam a great fan of gandhi...always was...i have probably read almost all the books written abt him...I consider someone with that kind of single focus, ideal and stubornness a very cool combination...almost superman kind...so, may be ur cub is on to something

when I got down to explaining who he really was, it sounded like he was some kind of human-e god...so I left it at that...
as for being cool, munnabhai's done that...according to my cub, besides being a God...gandhi's also munnabhai's friend...:)

I used to as a kid n then at some point i realized that if sum gr8 person died then also we got chutti...so being innocent.. i used to pray for ...u know wat.
My ma told me it was the wrong thing to do...n then i went abt praying "let him goto sleep today , so we'll get a holiday n then wake up tomo!"
